Kyoto, Japan

The last stop on our tour of Japan… Kyoto. By far, my favorite. It’s a big city, but unlike Tokyo, it feels like a smaller town. Temples and shrines are everywhere, it’s not called the City of Ten Thousand Shines for nothing. Also, the beef in Kyoto was absolutely out-of-this-world! I can’t stress this enough… the beef here is truly amazing!!! I grew up in Texas — we think we know beef… we don’t.  There’s a reason wagyu beef is the world’s most expensive… it’s awesome!!!

I don’t usually leave a place thinking, “Man, I’d really like to live here.”  I left Kyoto thinking, “Man, I’d really like to live here.” If you ever get the chance to visit, take it. You won’t be sorry.
